Stay Human is an iPhone app that shows one card a day. The card carries one small, concrete human act: call the friend you laugh hardest with, go outside for nine minutes, fold a paper plane. You do it, you hold a button to stamp it done, and the app has nothing else to show until tomorrow. There is no feed inside it and no account, because there is no server.
It was written and built by one person, Bedri Efe Demirbag, a product manager in Istanbul who is not an engineer by trade. All 139 cards are hand written. 26 are free; six optional decks cost 2.99 each, paid once.
"I noticed I was reaching for my phone to feel something, and it never worked. Every app that tries to fix this punishes you: screen time walls, guilt graphs, a lock you can tap past in two seconds. I wanted a better offer. One card, one small act, and then nothing."

Four cards from the free deck: "Call the friend you laugh hardest with. Today, not Sunday." "Go outside for nine minutes. No phone." "Eat dessert first tonight. Tell no one why." "See something beautiful today and deliberately do not photograph it." The rest are in the app, one a day.
